Madi Lane bride Teesh tied the knot with her sweetheart Joel wearing our DION gown at the dreamy Quat Quatta in Elsternwick, Melbourne. We are in love with how elegant and modern their nuptials were!

Where did you find ‘the one’, and why did you choose that gown?

I found the one at Luv Bridal Boutique in Melbourne. I knew I wanted a Madi Lane dress. Dion was the third dress I tried on and I fell in love straight away! I felt so special in Dion.

How did you meet?

We originally met at work and became great friends. I then moved to Singapore for a job. Covid brought me back to Australia and because of lockdowns we didn’t expect to move in together, but we haven’t looked back since!

Tell us your proposal story.

Joel planned a beautiful proposal. He chartered a helicopter to take us to a winery and caught me off guard by proposing first thing in the morning at home in our PJs before we left. It was a very sweet special day!

Where did you get married? Tell us about the location, and style of your wedding.

Our venue Quat Quatta in Elsternwick Melbourne was dreamy, romantic & 3 minutes away from our house. A logistical dream! We found the space by accident & didn’t look anywhere else.

What was your favourite moment from the big day?

Our personal vows. Not a dry eye in the room.

What advice would you share with future Madi Lane brides?

You’ll know when you’ve found your dress! That feeling really does exist, and don’t limit yourself to certain styles either. I went into my appointment thinking I wanted a certain style but ended up loving something different.
