GIVING BACK

Our brands have been built for love and the celebration of one of life’s most meaningful moments. Every bride deserves to write (and star in) her own unique love story, whatever the circumstances. That is why we have partnered with the wonderful non-profit Wish Upon a Wedding in the USA, who grants weddings and vow renewals to couples facing terminal illness or serious life-altering health circumstances. It is our pledge to gift a wedding gown of the bride’s choice, with our humble pleasure.

Meet Jane

Jane & Scott

Jane and Scott first met at the gym in 2003. The very first day he saw her, Scott walked across the room to introduce himself. After just a brief conversation, he followed her out to the parking lot to ask her to dinner. Six months later, they were engaged, and soon after, they were married. Over the next two decades, they built a beautiful life together and raised four children.

In 2023, everything changed when Jane was unexpectedly diagnosed with metastatic stomach cancer. She underwent an extensive surgery to remove her entire stomach, followed by aggressive chemotherapy. Despite multiple rounds of treatment and experimental therapies, Jane’s cancer has continued to progress, and sadly she has since passed.

Even in life’s hardest moments, love continues to bloom.

Jane’s strength, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family left a lasting impression on all of us. We are incredibly grateful to the wish-granting team and generous vendors who came together to create a beautiful vow renewal for this remarkable couple.

For one unforgettable day, Jane and Scott were able to set aside the weight of doctor’s appointments, treatments, and uncertainty. Instead, they were surrounded by the people who love them most, who celebrated their marriage and now hold Jane in their hearts.

MEET LACEY

After just 5 years of marriage, Lacey received the devastating diagnosis of ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) in 2023, and sadly since, her health has continued to decline. What started as a happy ‘first date’ at an Anti-Valentine’s Day party, Lacey and Steven’s love was kindled and then deepened as the couple became a thriving family of five. Now, they face their most difficult challenge.Lacey lives her life from a wheelchair and relies on a ventilator, but she greets each day with joy and does whatever she can to care for her family. Wish Upon a Wedding was thrilled to grant their wish for a vow renewal ceremony, which took place on May 17th 2026 in celebration of love, resilience, and heart. Surrounded by her beautiful family and adoring husband Steven, Lacey simply glowed in our Madi Lane Sarie gown, which was gifted with our most humble pleasure.

“It is hard to put into words just how much we appreciate the kindness shown to us and all of the hard work that went into making this dream vow renewal happen.”
