Fabeinne and Daniel met at the start of a new job they were both starting at the same time. The start of what would be two big parts of their life happening at the same time.
“We met at work—specifically during our vocational training. After our first date, we began seeing each other regularly and soon became a couple.“
Likewise, Daniel proposed at an already special time of their life together. Another two big life events coinciding for the lucky couple.
“He proposed during our “babymoon” while I was seven months pregnant with our first child. We were on a beach in Rhodes, taking photos of my baby bump. He seized the moment and, right at the end, got down on one knee. It was sunset, and we were completely alone on the beach. He had chosen a stunning ring featuring an emerald in the centre surrounded by twelve diamonds—the number 12 holds great personal significance for us.”
Fabienne found her dream dress at Mein Brautkleid in Heidelberg, Germany. Falling in love with our Ward wedding dress for the lace sleeves, the straight neckline and the romantic train. It looks perfectly her.
“I bought it at a bridal boutique called “Mein Brautkleid” in Heidelberg, Germany. I had a very clear vision and brought along inspiration photos that resembled this specific dress. As soon as the consultant helped me put it on, I knew instantly that this was “the one.” I had never felt so comfortable or so much like myself in any other dress.”
The couple celebrated their wedding at a beautiful, history palace estate in the German countryside. Saying their vows in an outdoor ceremony in the gardens, followed by their party with their nearest and dearest friends and family.
“We got married at Schloss Rotenfels, with an outdoor ceremony held in the expansive palace gardens. The reception took place on-site in a permanent pagoda-style marquee with wooden flooring. Our colour palette consisted of soft pastel tones—warm shades of blue, sage, pink, yellow, apricot, and lilac. We incorporated many ribbon details and personalised decor, such as a ‘selfie mirror’ and dusty-blue goblets that served as accents on the tables.”
“When my dad walked me down the aisle to my husband. And, in general, the special time spent with family and friends.”
“Trust your gut and enjoy it—it’s all over far too quickly.”
Congratulations Fabienne and Daniel!
