Lilly & Thomas

Madi Lane bride Lilly tied the knot with her beau Thomas wearing our DARNELLE gown at Sandalford Winery in Western Australia. We are obsessing over their gorgeous nuptials!

Tell us your proposal story.

We were on a weekend getaway at Margaret River in Western Australia, having a private wine tasting together overlooking the vineyards at Howard Park. Tom had organised my favourite flowers to be laid out with a bottle of champagne – it was just perfect. Tom then fell on one knee popping the question and of course it was a ‘yes’!

Which Madi Lane gown did you fall in love with, and why?

After trying on different wedding dresses at Luv Bridal Perth in Western Australia, I began to get a better understanding of what I wanted and soon fell in love with the Darnelle gown. This wedding gown ticked all the boxes and made me feel so confident and amazing with myself.

Where did you get married? Tell us about the location, and style of your wedding.

We got married at Sandalford Winery in Western Australia in their Estate room. Our styling of the wedding was very modern, minimal and luxurious. We had only white and green flowers with silver elements in our decor.

What was your favourite moment from the big day?

My favourite part was being able to take a moment and step back with my partner to just take in our wedding day. With all the excitement and celebrating, we just wanted to reflect and not feel as though the day was just passing by.

What advice would you share with future Madi Lane brides?

My advice when finding your dream wedding dress is that you need to not only look fabulous, but feel it too. Ask yourself what you want, not what everyone else thinks is right or wrong for you.
