Our Madi Lane real-bride Mia said ‘I do’ to Patrick wearing our JAYE fishtail gown in New York!
They got married at Country Meadow’s Barn in Fort Ann New York in the Adirondacks. The venue was a barn that you can see the mountains in the distance with wild fields off to the side – talk about picture perfect!

Jaye! I found Jaye at Something Bleu Bridal in Saratoga Springs!
I wanted a very classic off the shoulder dress and had a pretty simplistic, specific style in mind. I sent Something Bleu inspo photos on instagram asking if they had anything similar and they sent me a picture of Jaye. It was the first gown I tried on in the store and I knew it from then that I was in love with it. My mom knew too. Each other dress I tried on after I kept saying it’s pretty but its not the first one. I was worried saying that was the one right then and there was too soon so we went to lunch after our appointment, I sat and looked back at photos and asked my mom if we could go back and get the dress because I really loved it. So we did and that was it. I kept saying I knew what I wanted from the get go. The off the shoulder wrap just felt so flattering to me when I looked in the mirror. The right amount of classy and wow I was looking for.
I got married at Country Meadow’s Barn in Fort Ann New York in the Adirondacks. The venue was a barn that you can see the mountains in the distance with wild fields off to the side that we got our sunset portraits taken in. The style of the wedding was mostly wild flowers. Accents of olive green and gold. The girls wore satin green dresses.
My favourite moment of the day was my entrance as well as our ceremony. My father has a 32 Cabriolet that was his late father’s that he rode in growing up. The barn has this long dirt road leading up to it and we arrived the two of us to the ceremony in the old car pulled up to the side and got out and walk down the aisle. The ceremony was so special because we shared our own personal vows where both my husband and I cried throughout. Almost every guest also told us they cried with us.
I could give so much advice lol. I would definitely have to say I feel like you work yourself up with so many thoughts and ideas on how to make the day absolutely perfect, unique and special because it is a once and a lifetime thing. The perfect dress, the perfect hair and makeup, the perfect table scape. Truly you just have to go with your gut and what makes you feel the best. There will always be small details you could’ve/would’ve changed but they become so second fill to the day as a whole. Once you’re getting ready to walk down the aisle every detailed thought goes out the window and the day truly just becomes the best day ever. The small details I could’ve/would’ve changed are so small looking back.
